Dr. TZUO Pei-Wen (Sophia)

The founder, Dr. Pei-Wen Tzuo (Sophia), received her Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University – Bloomington in the US. She was a former assistant professor at Nanyang Technology University (NTU) in Singapore and worked there for the past 10 years. She has conducted various studies on early childhood education and beyond and has won research grants of over SGD $2.54 million as a principal or co-investigator from MOE, NTU, and Singapore Millennium Foundation. She has published her findings in 27 articles in scholarly journals, books, and conference proceedings. She has been invited as a keynote speaker as well as presenting her research findings at many international conferences.

It has always been her passion to nurture the little ones’ absorbent minds and to provide the best education to foster every child’s development and learning. During her teaching and research in Singapore for the past 10 years, she has educated many early childhood leaders (including principals and curriculum development leaders from the various preschools and kindergartens in Singapore). Even though she enjoys lecturing, it has always been her passion to set up a child care centre to serve the community and people. After her experiences at NTU for the past 10 years, she wants to set up a high quality centre to make a significant contribution to society and to serve the needs of young families. Dr. Tzuo is originally from Taipei, Taiwan and has migrated to Singapore for 12 years.
