If you are new to the Emile Preschool @ Bartley, you have just entered a very special school. Emile Preschool is a family-oriented and close-knit preschool dedicated to using the most trustworthy research-proven discoveries to promote children’s intelligences and giftedness.

I am honoured to welcome you to Emile Preschool and to introduce myself as the principal of this school which gives me a precious opportunity to work with my team of remarkable educators. I feel confident in the ability of my team to deliver a strong start for your children.

I have a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the National Institute of Singapore; a Bachelor’s degree of Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College Boston, as well as a Diploma with Leadership and Merit of Early Childhood Education from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore.

I joined Emile Preschool after serving as a lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at a local polytechnic, training our next generations of preschool teachers. Prior to that, I was one of the principals at a local kindergarten and led my team to win the Early Childhood Innovation Award (Commendation) with a project carried out together with the children. I was also a Curriculum Specialist who designed and drew up the curricula currently used by preschools. I have rich experience of working closely with children as a preschool teacher in different curriculum and school settings, and I firmly believe that early childhood education is the first step to discovering and cultivating the hidden talents and interests of our children.

For most children, preschools are their first experience away from their parents and familiar home settings. At Emile Preschool, “Everyone is capable and competent; new discoveries begin at Emile everyday”. We understand how young children develop and learn best. My team of passionate teachers promotes children’s development in language & literacy, numeracy, social & emotional, aesthetics and creative expressions, motor skills as well as discovery of the world. Emile graduates will be well equipped with knowledge and skills for a good start in life.
